A new year resolution?

2008 is coming to close, time to pack up yourselves, do a little back thinking, reflection perhaps, and head on fresh to the new year with a whole bang of an attitude and a new mindset.

On the contrary, i know many out there who are too lazy to even go about all the reflection and resolutions. Hahaha.

Okay, i know i've not spared myself some time for an entry in ages. So, here goes. First i want to keep memory of the awesome times i've had with my cousins, my family and ofcourse, my girlfriend of one fruitful year. (= Happy memories.

Then again, i'd want to keep away disdainful memories of school work and more work, and work! Aw crap. Its like a haunting, its there, keeps on coming, never shies away, like a distasteful thwang rolling on the tip of my tongue. (that is whenever i'd have to mention work or something the likes of it)

Its the 28th, well, the very first few hours of the 28th day of december, harkens the end of whatever short holidays poly students have to celebrate the christmas spirit. Speaking of christmas, i've never felt more old, then before, as i partied and took to the liqour with my families and friends. It was just awesome! And thereafter, midnight mass all the way at the Immaculate Heart of Mary, forgive me if i mispell anything.

so, school starts tomorrow!!.....right. goddammit. hahahaha.

hmmm, watched too much southpark. If anything, i might as well been bored as hell too, this couple of days.
p.s i do not party as much as someone. huhhh.

hmmmm, i've been thinking.
I've not really blogged, so here goes.

i just had a haircut recently, and boy do you know, it kind of sucks whenever i think that as i have to wake up every morning for work, dressed in a suit, i'd like every bit the smallest boy i've ever looked in years. Aha. that's a sad realisation.

But nonetheless, i told the stylist that i always frequent, that i'd wanted a blow up hairdo, one that looks like Chace Crawford from "gossip girls". Which is impossible, because, i do not have the angular face to pull it off. Oh how i'd know about Gossip girls, just ask my girlfriend. Hahahaha.

So the stylist went ahead, and tried....and as a result.

haha, i don't think i'll style it, just let it grow long, not that i can even style it. its a little bit too short to do so.

Anyway, just last week, i was mugging away for my fireman certificate which was dumb as hell. i mean, it's not attributed to my gpa. but i still had to mug for it. So, for me, the holidays have just officially started, and its time to have some fun, on top of having to work.
Oh i'm working for my Aunt!

The company, "Silk Legal" Hahaha. hmmm, you say legal? yes, its a law firm. Well, i'm sort of the uh, counter guy, paper guy, you call it. hahaha! no way i could really work in a law firm, i do resort design and mgt, not law.

I need to gym too. A says i need to eat more. i've been eating a lot already! hahaha. Anyway, Thank You Darling A, for supporting me through my exam period. (= Don't know how i would do without your wonderful support. I thank god, for her.

I did pretty well by the way, for term 2.1. Now there's 2.2 and i've got to take on an extra subject, means i can't take up a CDS, that's quite sad. Why, cuz last term, i had to retake a subject. Dumb. Stupid details really, how i retook that subject. Don't ask.

Sports! i've been thinking, soccer and badminton, maybe some tennis lately. But soccer's not easy, with the weather and i hardly know how i can find regular soccer games to play and how i'd fit all that in my already tight holiday schedule, of work. Ah, silk legal. hahaha. Damn it.

Okay, off for the moon-caking thingy.

4 papers, beginning monday, and sunday, olympic closure!

Its been a joy, to see the all the amazing stuff the olympics has churned out. The Fishman, fastest man on earth, s'pore's first medal in 48. Yeah.

But it does not take away the pressure and stress of, 4 papers.

Its been a while since i've last blogged, so i decided to just put in a little time to blog about my, 4 papers.

Ha ha, oh he he, oh ah ha ha ha, he he he he, oh ha!

Joker's the legacy. in memory of Heath Ledger.

I'm emo now, don't really want to understand why, but i know full too well why i'm emo.

oh well, caught the dark knight, actually booked tickets for it, so seats were good, and the movie was without a doubt, the most interesting and enticing movie for the summer, a true summer blockbuster.

Heath Ledger of the joker, was totally awesome, the way he acted to conduct terror on the civilians of gotham, anarchical.
It has a dark deep plot with deep intonations and a well driven meaning to the movie that applies to everyday living.
The dark knight and a white knight, knowing your fears and facing up to them, many more.
The PLOT is freaking good okay.

Just, go catch it. i rate it 8.5 popcorns!

okay, first post in like soo many weeks.

lots of things to do. and, i have not been gyming, sucks.
i'm wayyy smalller now.

anyway, this sunday's going to be my cousin's 21st birthday party, as i, have never really been to a 21st party, i wonder how much different it'll be like. hmmm.

SCHOOL!'s been such a bore, with lessons after lessons, seemingly endless, and thank you girlfriend, for you unbore my school life with your visits and support! Love!

Now, i have, *yeaahhh much of projects.

-Space planning! argh,
-Fire life safety
-Security and surveilance
-this Apel thing due next week
-Sociology
-Project management, its troublesome, this one.

Anyway, just listing them, cuz i nearly forgot what projects i had, took me a while to remember them. Ahhh, matthew ah, forget your projects. Hah.

Almost all of them require presentations and the use of a computer.

Talking about computers! i really want an external hard-disk! My com space is running out. damnit.

Need a new wardrobe, nowadays i've not even been bothering to really wear something nicer, hahaha. Sorry la Angela. Nicer wear will come soon. i hope. (=

Anyway, this month is going to be fun. It will begin with sunday, party after party man!

I finally got a new table, and a book case, with a chair and a carpet to it.

Now, i can switch from table to table. whee. okay, basically, i can put my stuff on either table, and do what i want with them, albeit not having to clear them away to accomodate new books.

Hahaha, so what i wanna do, is DRAW! its been ages since i drew and colored, and, although time is scarce, still i'm sure i can find time to indulge? (=

book case! to store my previous drawings and works! whee, they're like in a pile in some corner of my room. and i've yet to dispose of my secondary books, and my reading materials (literate books, not the studious kind).

So, i'll just chuck them into my book case! okayyy.

On a second note, setting up these furniture has caused blister problems, again. hahaha, this means, my hands have not done much rough work and has turned delicate, like girl's hands.

speaking of girls, ANGELA is like a song dictionary, hahaha, cooool la. ok, any songs i don't know, i'll just turn to her and within a matter of a few rythms, i'll know the name of the song. how cool is that. thanks Angela! Love!

Its been a while. i've been losing track of time, it just passes by so quickly, too quickly.
On thursday, i played soccer, as a result, i have blisters, large ones.
It hurts.

Oh well, that aside, its already the 4th week of school, its just too fast.
My projects were given 2 weeks ago, and they now have to be handed in 2 weeks later.
And i've only started on 2 of them.
So out of a total of 7, i've 5 more left to start on, great.

Irdd, apel, flsm, sec sur, space planning and project management, not forgetting to mention my cds, sociology.

6 out of 7 of them are group projects, so time management is crucial.

God bless me.

My course is getting more interesting, larger job prospects, from hotel managers to general managers for resort, security manager, hahaha, ok, basically, the managerial posts. great.
But these come at a price, giving up a lot of my precious time, to cope with my studies.

And to think, i wanted to join back canoe polo.
Is it a good decision to do so? i need some help on this, thank you.

Its time for me to blog!

Ah. been really busy the past week.

Had outings, that i couldn't fully attend, but nvm that. I'm BROKE!
Lol. thanks to the cabs, that i've been taking.

Oh today was best, thanks angela! We went to watch.

Definitely, Maybe

Its a romantic love comedy/drama.
Featuring Ryan Reynolds as the lead named, William with his daughter Maya (Abigail Breslin) . The story begins with William opening the papers that will make his divorce final, then he meets his daughter,Maya, at school and they return to his home where she will spend the night. Maya wants Will to tell her a bedtime story - she wants to hear the tale of his romance with her mother. Secretly hoping that memories will encourage him not to take the final step into divorce.

There are some twists and a change of scenery for the movie, basically involving three possible women who could be Maya's mother. As the movie progresses, more of who Maya's mum is becomes clearer. But still, even if one is able to guess who Maya's mother is, its not the end of it.

It was an enjoyable movie, with an interesting plot. Worth watching, i'd rate it, 3 and a half stars. cheers. (=

Oh, recently, on sunday, talking about cabs again, i jumped into the this comfort cab, the blue ones, delegero ones. The driver took my ride by the storm. He drove on highways with speeds that can go up to 130km/ hour. He's mad, but i enjoyed the ride. hahaha. And what's more, from town to my house, it only costed 12 bucks. He drove really fast, i had my seat belts on. (=

But nevertheless! i think i may have spent a total of about, 90-110 dollars on cab already, for the past 3 weeks. Walau, waste of cash, really. I've been cabbing a lot, sigh, why cab now when prices are so high, am i crazy. Hahaha. I remember what tom said to me, if have money, just spend la, no point keeping it, especially now, when we're young, should just spend. Hahaha, ok, yeah, but not on cabs right? Lol.

On a happier note, angela, has been such a darling. (= she helped me with my work, and thank you so much, (= angela's the love!
End of the month's coming, projects are due, tests, and quizes. God save me.

Tp regetta, olympiad and jam and hop. didn't get to be an official, went to "play" instead.

ok. school's starting, holidays are coming to a close. just 2 more days, unofficial, since they are weekends, all weekends are considered "holidays".

hahaha. so the holidays are over! whoopee, not.

Didn't work much, i'm a broke kid. need to save, new things await me. Harsh decisions, soft comments, all in all, its going to be a whole new different experience, living the junior life in a tertiary school.

First of all, its a start of a new academic year, with loads of new faces pouring in from all over into the six schools of tp.
Some familiar, especially to those who have attended the various camps held before.

Others, new.
Horrors and joys, responsibilities, sad, happy moments. a lot of things.

so, what am i going to do now? i've to reflect. Its time to reflect. God Bless!

FOC/FOW

Seriously, one of the most memorable, 6 days of my life.

I dreaded going for the camp at first, thinking, what if i couldn't open up? what if, i'm afraid to stand up?
what if i'm afraid to bond?
But, by the 2nd day of Fow, things took a 180 degrees turn, i told myself, if you wanna cheer, go all out, cheer like, mad, even if you stumble, people laugh, its for the fun of it. Fyrhto gls bonded like mad, there were hardly any conflicts, with so much love, care and fun.

How can i say, that i didn't enjoy myself? FOW freshies, put up the most shocking, most amazing, most funniest performance i've ever seen.
Elton, Lohes, stefanie, all super amazing freshies, high and everything.
For my sub empire, fyrhghie, on the 2nd day of fow, more than half didn't appear. my morale was pretty low. but nevertheless, the remaining, bonded really strongly, faisal (big show) , derek and the rest.

FOW/FOC 08/09 freshies own gls and everything man. owned my kaistor experience.
I LOVE FYRHTO!

having put in my all for FOC, cheering and shouting, starting cheers, jumping everywhere. at first to see the attitude of some of the fyrhghie freshies, really brought my morale down, Ali, my senior fellow sub gl and a good example to follow already had no voice.
but on the last day, my sub empire really had fun. i was glad. Its was so much more satisfying to see the freshies from not wanting to cheer, go all out on the last day to have fun and bond.

I cried so much, after the year 3s had their say. and after the mass dance, seeing shep, jy, ali, tom, glenn, caleb, kaiwen and many more, i just smiled and i cried.
Jy was a really really rocking gl. He has set the example. Shep too! He put in his all, this camp, is worth it, he set the example i should follow. Shep! love you lahhh, like mad.

Hopefully, those who i love and who are no longer going to be studying in tp, we will forever keep in touch and have more memorable memories.

(= and Angela, thank you for being by my side mentally, physically and spiritually, your smiles always warm me up, your reactions are always the cutest, hahaha. She's the love.

The first time of the week that i woke up soo early, too early! 8am. barely had enough sleep. hahaha. but its expected, its the holidays anyway.

Went for mass, then took a long trip down to the Science Center, there were so many stuffs going on at the center, spent quite a lot. But i safely say, i enjoyed myself a lot. Watched dinosaurs at the OmniMax. It was great, but not fantastic. hahaha. its still an omnimax, famous for its gigantic screen and sound effects.

Nonetheless, we finally took a trip down to do something different, been quite a while.

As expected, one supplementary paper. But nonetheless i'm quite happy. i got a c for math and no Ds, just one D+ the rest is Bs and Cs.
Still. my gpa has only been pulled up by 3points. i just hope, that taking that last sup paper will pull it up. i need to work for a distinction. Its within my reach. Oh, its a graded sup paper. because, i had mc for that paper.

ok. lately, i've been a little busy to blog. firstly, over exams, but since that was over like, 3 days ago. (mine finished on friday, i know, it sucks)
but then, during the weekend, i've been catching up on my sleep, and did a little gaming with john, shep tom, caleb! haha, i'm now a member, of some lanshop. (sorry, don't rmb the name of the shop.)

Sunday! Ms lim had to work, events! Haha, BLAZER huh someone. looking smart and everything. Went for a crystal jade dinner. At suntec. (=

Mondayyyyy. The girlfriend, followed me down to cheena town (thanks girlfriend! you're the love, so nice to follow me down all the way), to check out this interview for an artiste management. Well. it went well. hahaha. i mean, i just got back from cheena town.

Oh, after that, we dined at some posh pizza and pasta restaurant! The food was AMAZING. ahhh. OK. Smoked salmon pizza! it had this white cheese in it, heavenly. and the crust was crispy to the max. Then it was a delicate serving of pasta, penne style, Al Fungi. Basically, a variety of mushrooms mixed in a rich cream sauce for pasta, the serving was just nice, not too overdone, and underdone. The sauce was perfect, i mean, i don't like pasta mania, (sorry to all those out there who love it) because, its too, overdone, the sauce is too thick, the serving is too much, i puke after i eat a rich creamy pasta. The aftertaste is quite....inordinate.

A lot has happened and sadly, i keep oversleeping. i miss soccer. )=

Its 7am. i just got back from some "intensive studying". hahahah, more play than work la please. anyway. on the way home. i boarded the bus, and i swear, it was a weird bus ride.

1: Its irritating when you have one cheena beng who sits just behind you, scolding "ni she shuay?" (or something like that) furthermore, he kept going on about relationships, your ex, my ex, "simi tai ji, wo bu pa ni" yeah, along those lines.
2: There's this beardy guy, who looks like a hippie, he did a weird and freaky action. he went all the way to the back, cupped his hands and "prayed" but it was more of the joss stick, "pls go away" kind of body tone. One word, freaky.
3: A one eyed man, who stood behind me when i was about to board the bus. weirdest thing is, he popped out from nowhere and stared using his good eye. and...he limps. now what, we've a pirate on the bus? harr. not funny okay, he was scary.
4: An old lady who loves to chitter chatter with the bus driver, her chitter was annoying, hmm, comparable to a certain girl who makes insane amounts of noise, always seemingly barbarous, uncouth, boorish, crude. haha. (in a certain hmmm. club room, mezzanine, parlor. haha.

Nonetheless, why i titled this entry, Fresh, was solely because i always feel that the first dews of sunrise never fail to cease amazement and a certain feeling of freshness. It most certainly must be the light the morning sun cast upon the ground, a slight bluish hue. Delightful. Haha.

Otc refresh! It was refreshing. There were many incidences where i got high and happy. yes! hahahaha.
It was a mixed groupings theme, or rather, basically, we just had to jumble up the empires into 6 different groups.
Honestly, i was not very high at first.
I mean, who sleeps at 7, only to wake up 4 hours later? Do you think, that person will get high easily? hahaha, maybe during FOC/OW, yes. but on any normal day. nah, nigh impossible. haha.

But nevertheless, it was nostalgic. The cheers were brilliant. The games were interactive, the crowd was amazing.
With Han, Roy, a lot more others, every single Group Leader contributes okay. Don't miss any single one out. hahaha.

Learnt a lot, efficiency, teamwork, getting messages across quickly and accurately. These values and teachings were all present in the various games we participated in.

Okay. I've still a lot of work to complete. Although i could almost say i might be in a state of stress. but fret not, it has not yet hit me full blast.
I mighty suspect that that will come, the week after. Sigh.
Maths, Intro to hospitality and tourism,Esfac, Ergonomics, all pain in the ass subjects, toying with my memory. Strains my brain. argh.

Alright, enough. Overall, i had fun today. *although sometimes, things don't go all too well.

WALAU. The metered price for cabs have gone sky high up and beyond!

what the hell. it costs me 20 bucks to get into boat quay from tampines. when last time, it only costs 13 or 12.
that's pricely.

Also, i've noticed that candies and sweets and all your other goodies have also increased, what used to be 1.20 a couple of years back, is now 2.50.
our favourite, Mars, Sneakers, Hersheys. haha. sad.

Inflation's hitting us bad. Income ain't increasing. so, it seems like, we're getting poorer? hah. ironic, when they say, youths have shown an increase in buying power.

Well. exams are pretty much around the corner. It sucks to have to celebrate a new year before exams. cuz, you can't really let go and get into that holiday mood.

Nonetheless, i see a rather joyful deposition on my part, because, at least, my income will increase, if only for a couple of days. (=

Red packets, here i come....whee.
